When MakeMiskates makes a donation, the primary recipient is the Jack Kirby Museum's digital collection.

The Jack Kirby Museum and Research Center, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit cultural and educational organization, has been working for years to collect and digitize his original artwork and related artifacts, and make them available for people to search online. The museum is run by a small group of volunteers with blessings from Jack's family members since the mid 2000s. Their goal is not just to preserve the legacy of this singular talented person, but also to educate generations to come about comics and pop culture history. But they need funding to actually make the site.

So if you love the New Gods, the universe they're in, or want to support comics history (or if you want to someday access all of Kirby's sketches and things yourself!) please consider donating.
