Why is there a limited quantity?

As this is the first print project we are running, we chose not to do pre-orders so that quality and pricing would be well understood prior to asking for your hard-earned money. Because of this, there is a very limited inventory available, but you have the confidence that the items are already manufactured and in-hand.

In the event that calendars sell out quickly, we may offer a second printing based on feedback. Keep an eye on the store page for more information if this occurs.

How long are sales open?

Sales will be open through November 15.

I would like to purchase more than one calendar, is this possible?

Yes! However, if you are ordering more than two, please reach out directly so we can ensure the shipping charge will be correct.

Since inventory is limited, contact us about this as soon as possible!

Can I order just stickers or just a calendar?

No, we are only offering the bundle. This is for a few reasons.

First, it simplifies the way orders are handled on the back-end for quantity tracking. Second, we are not offering a large variety of merch, so breaking up the items would mean more overhead for store maintenance and shipping/handling for little benefit to customers. Third, a major goal of this first project is to gain experience with running a zine, so we do not want to stretch too thin or over promise on what we are capable of managing. 

What are the shipping prices?

Shipping to the US costs $7 for the first item, then $2 for each additional item.

Shipping outside the US costs $22 for the first item, then $6 for each additional item.

When will calendars ship?

There are no exact dates on when an order will ship, but we do have some shipping deadlines we will adhere to:

• International orders will ship out no later than December 6, though it is likely that shipping will occur prior to November 26.

• US orders will ship out no later than December 13.

Order may be shipped out anytime before these dates. If you need exact information on timing, please contact us directly with your order number.

When will calendars arrive?

Shipping is from the US, so this will typically take 4 to 7 business days domestic.

International shipping may take 14 to 30 business days. 

Can I cancel my order?

We will accept cancellation requests that are made before the item is shipped.

Once shipped, all sales are final.

Where do profits go?

All profits after cost will go to The Jack Kirby Museum's digital collection, which you can read more about here.

What happens if there aren’t enough sales to make a donation?

The goal of this project was to do something fun with the fan community, and learn about zine creation along the way. Money was never the bottom line. We are very aware that the fandom is fairly small on tumblr, and not everyone can or would like to purchase a calendar, so it would not be a surprise if we don’t recoup costs.

However, as a big supporter of preserving the history of Jack Kirby’s work and someday making it available to others, I (your admin Kate) will pitch in to meet a minimum donation of $50. If we make more than this in profits, then that would be wonderful. But if not, you have my solemn guarantee that we will at least give back that much.
